Rob Joseph's Future Vintage Strat
This guitar belongs to my dear friend Rob Joseph. It started it's life as a Black 90s American Standard Strat, with upgraded appointements such as a modern 2-point blade bridge with modern saddles and Sperzel locking tuners. The concept was to take the existing wear of this 16 year old guitar and accellerate it to 20-30 years from now, thereby effectively creating Rob's future vintage strat. The right amount of wear has been applied to the neck back making it more playable than ever. The wood on the headstock has been darkened and all of the chrome hardware lightly aged as pictured. The high gloss body finish has been distressed and aged down to an ebony satin/semi-gloss and cracks have been applied primarily to the back of the body. One small area around the the back of the arm rest has been aged to expose the creamy white primer coat and a little of the wood. All of the plastic hardware has been appropriately darkened match its prosepctive age. This page contains 2 Galleries: Before and After.
